Homesteaders

Homesteaders wanted all the land they could get even if it took the indians land they didn't care they wanted it so they just took they thought since they didn't get a deed for the land its not offically their so they could just take it. The indians didn"t like this so they would fight and have wars with the homesteaders to try and save there land and the animals that were living on it.

indians just wanted there land they were there first so they have been living there homesteaders and no reason to take their land they had so many other places to take they only used 10% of the untited states for the homestead act

The Yakima indians later called a war on the settler because none of them wanted to give up their nice land which had lots of animals on it and it was perfect. this also why the settlers wanted it it was perfect for growing crops on it so they declared war and fought for there land.
